This pack prompts you with a new challenge each time you open Minecraft's start screen. Challenges could be to build with a certain color, avoid a certain kind of food, a [block] is lava game, and more! Spice up your gaming session!

What Does This Pack Do?

This pack adds fun challenges (or adjectives depending on which version you choose) via the splash text for each gaming session. If you need to reroll, you can open your world and back out to the title screen to get a new challenge. You can choose to accumulate challenges for your world, too (if you get contradictory challenges, go with the most recent one). You can come up with a punishment for failing the challenges, like randomly scrolling through your hotbar and tossing whatever slot you land on into a cactus, for example. Or just stashing it until the next session if that's too much ;)

With the adjectives, you can use that adjective to define your playstyle for that session, or use it as the style/theme of build you make, like a prompt. There are over 100 challenges and over 400 adjectives!

  • No vegetables

  • Only eat vegetables

  • No meat

  • No looting structures

  • No game mechanic farming

  • No overcrowding farm animals

  • No confining villagers

  • No sounds or subtitles

  • Only use the hotbar (no inventory)

  • No use of offhand

  • No potions/bottles

  • No breaking player placed blocks

  • No natural regen

  • No brightness

  • No fleeing fights

  • No fighting/violence

  • No doors/gates/trapdoors

  • No using storage blocks

  • No enderchest

  • No swords/axes as weapons

  • No using nether portals

  • Grass is lava!

  • Collect all armor trims

  • Collect all sherds

  • Collect all edible items

Using this pack as a template to make your own textures that work the same way in game as mine do is allowed and encouraged. Please note that I've changed some of the names of the files from their vanilla counterparts - you will need to keep these names when changing out the textures or the files will not be able to find the textures.
