Small update mainly disguised as a update for bug fixes! We fixed a lot of Z-clipping with color-blocks as well as we're experimenting with big leaves and branches!

QUICK HOTFIX: Fixed Petrified Slabs not using the color blocks texture. 1.21.1 blocks have also been added to the pack repository on the server. Originally slated to be a massive critical bug fixes update we got carried away with it and decided to make a 3 part themed update. Part 1 of Global Cultures is pretty basic, only including architecture blocks and 1 new vehicle model.

This update marks the end of the 6.0 era. 6.0.9 brings in a lot of new architecture blocks and expands upon flora, making it more dynamic and realistic than ever. There's lots of new flowers, re-textures, and changes to help modernize Compbuild. We have re-textured leaves and old assets. This is definitely one of the most impactful updates we've had in so long and the biggest in 2024 so far. It's amazing how much we've done in the last month to get this update out.
Okay, now you might be wondering where 7.0 is? Well. It's happening, and we are going to give you information about it. So, 7.0 is an update that changes the entire aesthetic of Compbuild Textures. Changing it's overall aesthetic and changing a lot of old textures in the pack. It's also not going to happen next month but most likely during the beginning of summer instead. We'll be telling you all about it between March and April!

This is an update focused on city assets, litter, and more. We've re-modeled a bunch of old models and introduced randomized models to the pack. We've introduced dozens of litter models to the pack, all randomized. This update is really special considering that this is the first time we have experimented with random models before. Detail your Minecraft city to the max with everything that's new in this update. We have added emojis to the pack! They are imported from our upcoming server pack.
Since 6.0.8 is a big number, we're not going to say much on 7.0 yet, but we will say that we will release version 6.0.9 next month, which will be the final update before 7.0. The 7.0 update is going to be an update focused on re-doing a lot of major parts of the pack from the ground up.
Other things aside, we are excited to announce Luminium, a state-of-the-art Minecraft modpack designed for Compbuild and building applications. Extremely performance-friendly, including all the OptiFine parity features and bringing you tools to help enhance Compbuild Textures.

We've dedicated 6.0.7 to an entire ocean update for Compbuild Textures. Changing the ocean blocks & textures was something that we thought we would never get to. Now we've changed the oceans, and we have ocean flora in Compbuild Textures. Along with that, we've also fixed up a lot of bugs. This update is designed for Alaire, a main project on Compbuild's server's Caribbean expansion.

All the alive coral textures and furniture models still exist when placed on land. When coral is waterlogged, it changes into actual coral.

Originally designed to only include interior-related blocks, we've added the ability to make your own sets of furniture within the pack with item frames. Get ready for 2024! We got a lot of exciting things coming to Compbuild that we can't talk about just yet! It's gonna be a good one.
We initially intended to launch this update on November 19th, Compbuild's actual anniversary. However, due to some technical issues, bug fixes, and personal commitments, the release is two days later. We apologize for the delay and appreciate your understanding.
In this update, we've introduced a few CIT alcohol models and a Jetski, a small vehicle we've been eager to add. As part of the celebration for Compbuild's 6th anniversary, we've revamped and updated brands in Compbuild Textures. Previously, we introduced a set of fictional brands in 2021 for use in your builds. Now, we've remastered these brands and created new, refreshed logos. If you prefer the old logos, they are still available for use.

It's almost the end of October, and it's time for a Compbuild Textures update! In this update, we have included 24 new blocks and a couple re-textures to old ones, and we have added a couple of models. We have also greatly improved building customization and detailing blocks within our pack. This is the dream update that we have been wanting to push out for a long time!

NEW BLOCKS
These new blocks aren't properly laid out yet so the only way to get them within Compbuild Textures is by using the Block Inspector tool on the Compbuild server! We plan to properly layout all blocks by their type and not their blockstate in a separate section in our pack reference world. For now, we recommend joining the Compbuild server and using /warp Pack-Blocks while we work on the new section for the new blocks. Look for an announcement on our Discord server about a new section and new pack reference world download. 👀
This version of Compbuild Textures allows compatibility for the Fall Colors addon and changes the way leaves are loaded. Optional to download unless you'd like to try the addon.
We'll be releasing Compbuild Textures 6.0.5 next month with new blocks to help with more traditional & rundown builds!
We have harnessed the blockstates of Target Blocks and Calibrated Sculk Sensors to introduce over 30 new blocks. We have also added new decoration blocks for traditional builds. This update has been in development for approximately a month. Additionally, we've given the texture pack layout and GUI a refresh, including brand new menu icons, and we've updated our overall style.
The new blocks are a bit difficult to get as you need WorldEdit or you have to use the debug stick. For example, if you want a sandstone ornate block you'll have to type //set calibrated_sculk_sensor[power=1,sculk_sensor_phase=cooldown]
. The default quartz variant is power 0 and you'll have to use it on its sculk_sensor_phase=cooldown
blockstate for it to not change when stepped on nearby. With Target Blocks for example if you want to get a half timbered block with a yellow wall, you'll have to type //set target[power=1]
. You can cycle through blockstates numbers like power=1, power=2, or more numbers to get the block you like.
We'd strongly recommend checking out our pack reference world at /warp Pack-Blocks to check out all the new blockstate blocks. We also want to mention that we're going to add a lot more in the future!
