v2.0 comes with some new features and changes to how you make item frames invisible. The mod has also been rewritten to support NeoForge and to improve compatibility
Changes
- Changed the way item frames are made invisible; you now have to right-click while holding a glass pane instead of left-clicking
- Item frames can now only be made invisible if they are already holding an item
- If the item is removed from an invisible item frame, it will remain invisible
- The mod id is now
eg_invisible_frames. The fabric version supplies the old id (eg-invisible-frames) for compatibility, however the new id should be used if possible

- Added more visual feedback when making an item frame invisible
- Item frames will turn into a transparent white plane and emit particles while fading out when they are made invisible
- You can now left click while sneaking to make an item frame visible again without popping out the item it is holding

- Fixed a critical issue where clients without the mod would be kicked when trying to load invisible item frames
- This was caused by the server trying to sync GLASS_PANE_ITEM to clients, causing a disconnect
- Updated the mod to support Minecraft 1.21 rc1 (and 1.21 when it releases)
Important!
If you had datapacks for this mod, the makes_item_frames_invisible item tag is now located under data/eg-invisible-frames/tags/item/ instead of data/eg-invisible-frames/tags/items/
- Particles now only appear inside the item frame hitbox
- Particles now only appear when player is less than 15 blocks away from the item frame (may add a config in the future)
- Update to full 1.20.5 release
