- snails now also drop slimeballs when they are walking on a dirt type block
v1.43 - NEW MOB: THE SNAIL
on Jan 12, 2024- added a new mob, the snail: it's a slow mob which follows you and drops slime when it dies. spawns wherever pigs do but only on dirt type blocks
- added snail spawning to the settings menu (/function nmv:settings)
!! If you are already using this datapack you'll have to turn snail spawning in the settings menu on in order for them to spawn.
v1.4a - Hotfix
on Dec 24, 2023- fixed a bug which did not tagged mobs without rarity
- fixed a bug where no rarity mobs would spawn
v1.4 - NEW: Mob Rarities
on Dec 24, 2023- mobs now have a chance to spawn in different rarities (common, rare, legendary, mythical)
- Rarity mobs have more health depending on the rarity they spawn as
- Rarity mobs have better loot on death (using vanilla chest loot table for that)
- added Rarity Mobs setting to the settings menu
- made slight changes to the settings menu

on Dec 22, 2023- added performance settings to the settings menu which equips mobs either every 1,5 or 10 ticks
- default performance setting is fast (every 1 tick)

- zombie horses now die alongside their riders
- Bomber and zombie horse riders now only spawn on moss replacable blocks
- reduced chances for mobs to spawn in diamond gear from 50% to 30%
- zombies, drowned, husks, chickens, goats, cows, pigs and sheep now have a chance to spawn with a baby passenger
- added a chance for a jeb_ sheep to spawn. Hitting an jeb_ sheep makes it drop some shinies

- rewrote all random functions to make use of the new 1.20.2 /random command
- added chance for shields in offhand
- added weapons and tools for mainhand
- Removed random items in mainhand and on Heads
- increased chances of Mobs spawning with randomized armor
- Husks, Zombies, Drowned now have a chance to spawn with a baby on their head (cute isn't it?)
- Zombies have a 1% chance to spawn as the new Bomber type when it's not raining. Bombers will drop a tnt when hit by a player
- Zombies have a 1% chance to spawn as a rider on a zombie horse when it's raining
- Illusioners have a 1% chance to spawn when a player hits a villager
- Killer Bunnies have a 1% chance to spawn when a player hits a rabbit
- Shulkers have a 30% chance to spawn in a different color
- added poof particles for mob spawning (smiliar to the ones when a mob is killed)
- added a small loot table with emeralds and diamonds to the special mob types
